Went to Cracker Barrel in Thanksgiving Day. Loved that we could check in and see the wait time - it allowed us to walk right in and be seated. The wait staff was very friendly. The menu was specialized for the holiday but there was PLENTY to choose from. I had the meatloaf and three sides - all delicious. My husband enjoyed his country fried steak. (They were out of the fried turkey dinner). Great experience!

I had never been to a Cracker Barrel before, and when I learned it was a store combined with a restaurant I wasn't expecting much for my dinner. I was pleasantly surprised! I ordered Chicken N Dumplings with a side of Mac and Cheese and a side of Steamed Broccoli. Mac and Cheese is my favorite food, and this side was sufficient. Steamed Broccoli was very buttery and soft, which I enjoyed. Though I did wish there was a little more of it. Chicken N Dumplings were fantastic! I had never had it before, and it was incredibly filling and delicious. My food came extremely quickly for a Saturday night dinner rush, and our waitress Gail was very welcoming! Not to mention our drinks were never empty, as the free refills were always on time, without prompting. I enjoyed my dinner so much I returned this morning for brunch, and enjoyed their French Toast with Scrambled Eggs and Sausage. French toast was very sweet and had the perfect amount of butter and saturation. Scrambled eggs could've been a little less dry, but with combination with the French Toast it wasn't an issue. Sausages were a good addition to my breakfast, and balanced everything nicely. The food did take a little bit longer to come out this time, but it isn't anything to complain about. Out waitress Jennifer was very pleasant, and against very prompt on the drink refills. I can't recommend this place enough, it feels amazing to be there, and you will leave with a full stomach.
